Why is my MIDI or KAR only 15 seconds long?
Free mode has one limitation: the exported file is truncated to 15 seconds. Your project remains complete. Start the monthly subscription, buy lifetime access or restore an existing entitlement.
What do the paid options unlock?
The auto-renewing €4.99 monthly subscription and the €29.99 lifetime purchase both remove the 15-second limit for .mid and .kar exports on that store platform.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Access remains active until the end of the paid billing period.
How do I restore access?
Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple or Google account. Purchases and subscriptions do not automatically transfer between different stores.
Why is the displayed price different?
The store adapts prices for country, currency and tax. Reference prices are €4.99 per month and €29.99 lifetime; the price confirmed by the payment sheet applies.
Why does an instrument sound different in my DAW?
MIDI describes notes and commands, not recorded audio. Every General MIDI sound bank or virtual instrument may interpret the song differently.
How should I protect my work?
Regularly keep a .botsong copy and exports in a backed-up location. Autosave and Undo/Redo do not replace external backup.
What should I include in a support request?
Include device and system version, BotSong version, action performed, MIDI format if relevant and exact error text. Attach a music project only if you have the right to share it.
