This privacy policy explains how the Media Transcript application (“Media Transcript”, “the app”, “we”, “our” or “us”) handles your data. We care about your privacy and designed the app so that your data stays on your device.
Media Transcript does not collect, store or transmit any personal data to our own servers or to third-party servers.
In particular, we do not:
All processing, including language detection and transcription (audio/video to text), is performed locally on your device using an on-device AI model. Your files and their content are not sent to any remote server.
Because everything happens on your device, the audio, video and text you use in the app remain under your control and are subject only to your device’s own storage and security settings.
Media Transcript does not embed third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or other tracking technologies. We do not share any personal data with third parties.
Media Transcript is not specifically directed at children, but it is suitable for a general audience. Since we do not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
You can delete any audio, video or text files you have imported or created in the app at any time using your device’s normal file-management tools. Uninstalling the app will remove the app and its local data from your device.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Media Transcript after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
